Deno's Shoe Repair

In this mini-cohesive, I visited Deno's Shoe Repair in Highland Park. My goal was to create photographs which show not only Deno and his job, but also the shop's age and essence. I used a style which I think helps define the decaying workshop. Visiting Deno's shop made me feel like I was in a 1960's cobbler shop, and these photos were made to portray that. During this project, my goal was to make an environmental portrait and use supporting images to expand on that portrait and create a story in the process.
